While I was researching the web for designs of binding tools I saw many that were designed for self publishers. Some bound books over the edge of a table with bars and clamps, very simple, but not what I was looking for.

I can't begin to tell you how many different kinds I looked at and most of the products they had to offer were quite expensive. I experimented for a year or so with a lot of different ways to bind books and I threw a lot of fixtures away before I settled on this design that I have put together.

Do you have your book ready for printing,

here is a list of things to do.

It was cold out there.

THINGS TO DO!

#1: Put it on a C/D or on a large capacity disk similar to a ‘Iomega’ zip disk and save it for future generations to see.

#2: Or, if you actually want to get it out on the market and peddle it to your friends and for the world to see, get it in the hands of a publisher that does printing for self publishers.

#3: Or start printing one book at a time, soon you can have a dozen books ready to go out.

#4: Or if you need some help, call me at (Last Chance Publishing) I am not an expert but I’ll be glad to help in anyway that I can.

#5: And maybe you will need some of my fixtures for binding your books when you decide to publish your own.
